When I was younger I dreamed of a big poufy, princessy wedding dress, but now I dream of something less extravagant. I love lace gowns; they are so perfectly timeless.

I love the idea of an at least partially button-up back. It just has this poetic quality that I love.

One major difference I’ve seen from a lot of dresses is that it’s not strapless. Oh my goodness, I cannot stress enough that I do not want a strapless gown. It would probably ruin the whole day with having to constantly pull it up. Having straps of some sort gives very necessary support for my somewhat sizable girls.

Also, I’m more on the modest side so by having lace I can cover up without being a prude. :P
